All the "Dollar Store Generals" around here have it and same withHCL plus aluminum foil in a closed container equal an explosion. By the way, HCL gives off chlorine gas as a byproduct and if you just mix it for fun and put a lid on it you will smell the chlorine gas. But worry, your own body will immediately tell you you like it and you will gag and wheeze if you get a good breath of it. So mix it outside even to experiment with it.If you are putting it in a 2 liter bottle, put the foil in the bottom of the bottle first. Then pour in the hydrochloric acid drain cleaner. It will fizzing and just put the cap on the bottle tight and get away. The pressure builds in the bottle until the bottle take it and rips open with a huge bang (may take a few minutes to build up the pressure...so stay away from the bottle for a while)If the bottle blow, it means you put in enough drain cleaner or aluminum foil (fill the bottle about a 1/4 or a 1/5 of the way up with HCL drain cleaner) . If the bottle blow up, for safety sake you should wait until the next day to approach it or shoot it with a BB gun from at least 30 ft away. But if you put in the right amounts of metal and HCL you have a problem

Just use any generic drain cleaner that uses HCL (hydrochloric acid) as it main active ingredient. tatami needs lots of care and we have to worry about scratches.
i see lots of new houses with engawa and shouji. but some use plastic or metal engawa. not wood.
some shoujis are not traditional shouji any more. used white plastic plate instead of white washi paper.
do you want old american style house?
we use shouji since nara era (710~), tatami since heian era (794~). very old right?

some love japanese style houses. of course.<br

You do the only thing you can do. Pray and never give up. I had an Uncle who used to tell me that the best thing to do is to Pray as though it was up to God and work as though it was up to you. Remove the toilet, replace the set screws and ring. There may be a subfloor problem if they have to shim it. Call someone asap otherwise the water will be a problem.

Seal is leaking again.

The toilet needs to be firm otherwise the rocking will create a problem with the wax ring.

Just some caulk around the base stop the leak but trap the moisture and create even bigger problems.

You need to get a plumber out.
